Why floors feel harder every year
It isn't the floor that has changed. Under the heel and the ball of the foot sits a natural layer of fat that absorbs every step, and it gets thinner with age. The floor is the same, but the cushioning between your foot and the floor is not.
Insoles have to be moved between shoes and slippers come off. Socks are the first thing you put on in the morning and they stay on all day.
That's why PadSocks exist. Raised 3D zones are placed exactly where your foot's own cushioning has worn thin. Wear them at home, in slippers or in shoes.
